Ferrara Colonial Mortuary offers traditional funeral and burial services as well as alternative services such as direct cremation and cremations with memorial services. We provide services for all faiths, customs, traditions and beliefs, and possess a full chapel facility on our premises in which to conduct funerals, memorial services and visitations. We can provide services in any cemetery or church of your choosing. We specialize in veterans services and regularly conduct memorial services with full military honors at all the local National Veteran's Cemeteries. Ferrara Colonial Mortuary can also ship and receive remains to any location in the world. We are here to assist you in any way we can.

Who We Are
Ferrara Colonial Mortuary was founded by Leonard Ferrara in what was once rural east Orange, California in 1973. Mr. Ferrara purchased what was then known as the Mettler Funeral Home which had been in existence on Hewes Street in Orange since 1966. Mr. Ferrara continues to serve as the funeral home's senior funeral director today.
Ferrara Mortuary is committed to serving the family's of Orange County in their times of need. Our fully licensed funeral directors have over 43 years of experience in providing quality service to the bereaved of Southern California.
We have an on staff legal advisor who can assist you with many of the questions surrounding what to do in order to prepare for the death of a loved one, and what to do after a loved one passes. They can also assist in pre arranging services and plans for individuals and families.
We have on staff clergy to assist you with any of your spiritual and emotional needs, and they can preside over any memorial or celebration of life service you choose to have.
Our Directors are members in good standing of the National Funeral Directors Association, California Funeral Directors Association, and Orange County Funeral Directors Association.
Our company fully complies with all regulations of the California Cemetery & Funeral Bureau, California Department of Consumer Affairs, and Federal Trade Commission.

Our directors and staff are available by phone 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. In the event of a death we can be contacted immediately to make necessary arrangements. In cases where death has not yet occurred we can pre-arrange all of our services for you to help lessen the burdens often associated with death and imminent death. Pre arranged service can also be made for individuals and families in good health who want to lock in current low prices and make cremation arrangements as part of an estate plan.
