Obituary

Margaret Elzora Didenhover, known affectionately as Margie, passed away peacefully in Fullerton, California, on August 13, 2023. Born on September 21, 1926, in Seattle, Washington, Margie lived a life full of love, faith, and gentleness.

Margie grew up and attended schools in her hometown of Seattle, Washington. She was a woman of great strength and dedication, choosing to devote her life to raising her family as a homemaker. Her relentless dedication to her family was a testament to her loving nature. Her home was always filled with warmth, laughter, and the delicious aroma of her cooking.

She was a caring mother to her son, Steve Didenhover, and a doting grandmother to her granddaughter, Krystin Didenhover. Margie was preceded in death by her beloved husband of over 57 years, William Hales Didenhover, and her cherished daughter-in-law, Renee Didenhover. She was the heart of her family, her love and kindness radiating out to all who knew her.

Margie had a passion for cooking, often spending hours in the kitchen preparing meals for her family and friends. Her recipes were a labor of love, each one a cherished family tradition. She was also an avid golfer and a skilled knitter, her handmade creations treasured keepsakes for those lucky enough to receive them.

Quiet moments found Margie immersed in a good book or cheering on her favorite football team, the Seattle Seahawks. Her love for the team was infectious, and she was their most devoted fan. Her enthusiasm for the game was only matched by her passion for life and the love she had for her family.

Margie was a woman of faith, her gentle spirit a reflection of her deep beliefs. She lived her life with grace and dignity, always putting others before herself. Her faith was a guiding light in her life, a beacon of hope and love for those around her.

As William Shakespeare once said, "We are such stuff as dreams are made on; and our little life is rounded with a sleep." Margie's dream was a life filled with love and happiness, a dream she fulfilled with every day she lived. Her life may have been "rounded with a sleep," but her memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.

Margie's life was a testament to the power of love, faith, and family. She was a beacon of light in the lives of those who knew her, her gentle spirit a source of comfort and inspiration. Though she will be deeply missed, her legacy will live on in the hearts and lives of those she touched.

In remembering Margie, we celebrate a life well-lived, a woman well-loved, and a spirit that will continue to inspire and guide us. Her love, faith, and gentleness will forever be a part of us, a constant reminder of the incredible woman we were privileged to know. As we say goodbye, we also say thank you to Margie, for sharing her life, her love, and her spirit with us.
