Gregorio Cobian De Anda, 92, passed away Wednesday, June 7, 2023. Born March 3, 1931, in the state of Jalisco Mexico, Gregorio lived in Guadalajara where he met the love of his life, Teresa Arch.
In 1963, Gregorio moved his family to Orange County where he and Teresa raised four children: Monica (Steve) Patton, Luis (Lorenza) De Anda, Cecilia (James) Melancon, and Juan (Rebecca) De Anda, all four graduates of Mater Dei High School. A devout Catholic, Gregorio was passionate about his faith, family, the Anaheim Angels and playing tennis with his friends. Lovingly referred to as “Ito”, Gregorio was adored by his ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife of fifty- two years, Teresa (Arch) De Anda, his parents Abraham and Rosario De Anda, and his brothers, Abraham De Anda, Jesus De Anda, and Salvador De Anda. Gregorio is survived by his sister Guadalupe Hershberger and his brother Enrique De Anda.
Visitation will be held Thursday, July 13, 2023, at Ferrara Colonial Mortuary, 351 Hewes Street, Orange, CA 92869 from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM with the Family Sharing and Rosary beginning at 6:30 PM. The Funeral Mass will be Celebrated the following day, Friday, July 14 at La Purisima Catholic Church, 11712 Hewes Street, Orange, CA 92869 at 10:00 AM. Following the Funeral Mass, Gregorio will be laid to rest at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery, 7845 Santiago Canyon Road, Orange, CA 92869 followed by a Celebration of Life luncheon at Orange County Mining Co. 10000 S Crawford Canyon Rd, Orange, CA 92705 from 12:00 p.m.- 4:00 p.m.
