Born, raised, and educated in sunny California, Cecilia was a proud alumna of the Ramona Convent in Alhambra and later attended Pasadena City College. She then used her education to bring a little sunshine into the dental office where she worked as an assistant for three years. But don't be fooled, she was more than just a pretty faced dental assistant. This lady had a magnetic personality that attracted more than just cavities.

One fine day in 1948, while enjoying a meal at the Twoheys Drive-in Diner in San Marino, CA, a daring gentleman named Billie Matthews climbed into her convertible to introduce himself. Now, it's not every day that a man leaps into your car, but Cecilia was no ordinary woman. She was captivated by his adventurous spirit, and they tied the knot in 1949, embarking on a love story that spanned over four decades.

In true Cecilia style, she wholeheartedly embraced her husband's entrepreneurial spirit. She wasn't just his wife; she was his partner, his cheerleader, and his best salesperson. Cecilia could sell ice to an Eskimo, and she loved nothing more than marketing and selling Billie's incredible inventions.

But her greatest joy and passion were her family. As a mother to Pamela and a grandmother to Kevin and Kimberly, she showered them with love and instilled in them her spirited zest for life. Pamela's husband, Chris Conlin, Kevin’s wife Hillary and Kimberly's husband, Tim Frost, were also brought into the fold of her affections. And let's not forget her great-grandchildren, River and Walker Frost and Hunter Conlin, who were the apple of her eye. She loved them more than a clearance sale on QVC, and that's saying something!

Cecilia was an avid traveler who loved to shop till she dropped. She was the queen of retail therapy and had a black belt in shopping. Her closets were full of surprises.
