Cremation Urns

 

Traditionally, cremated ashes are placed in a Urn and kept at the home or buried in a cemetery plot, or placed in a wall niche.  In many instances a small portion of the ashes were placed in a Keepsake Urn or Pendant and given to several family members when the main urn is buried or in a remote location.  Many people use their miniature urns to hold other items such as a lock of hair, crushed flowers, or even small trinkets held dear by their departed loved one.

 

Many people choose to scatter the ashes of their loved one's.  Many scatter at sea, by air, or in some other special place.  Ferrara Colonial mortuary carries urns specifically for the purposes of scattering.  These Scattering Urns come in a variety of styles and materials.
